To make this silver jubilee truly historic, new components are being introduced:

City Embraces Anjali: engaging citizens and communities of Bhubaneswar in inclusive celebrations

Corporate Volunteering: encouraging companies and professionals to nurture inclusion

Hospitality Volunteers; ensuring visiting children, youth, and educators experience warmth and care throughout the festival

The roadmap for elevating Anjali from a festival to a movement - one that promotes the acceptance of differences and the celebration of diversity in every sphere of life.

Roadmap: From Festival to Movement
Vision Statement
Anjali will no longer be just a once-a-year festival. It will grow into a people’s movement, inspiring accessibility, acceptance of differences, celebrating diversity, and building inclusive communities across India and beyond.
Activities
1. Deepening the Festival Experience

Expand themes beyond art and culture to include technology, sports, environment, and innovation.

Create year-long competitions and workshops feeding into the festival.

Ensure universal accessibility in every event, transport, venues, digital tools, and materials.
2. Building a Year-Round Engagement Model

Launch Anjali Clubs in schools, colleges, and communities to carry the spirit forward.

Regular workshops, debates, and art exhibitions on inclusion and creativity.

Monthly “Inclusion Days” in institutions where children lead awareness campaigns.
3. Amplifying Youth Leadership

Create a Youth Inclusion Council under Anjali for policy advocacy.

Train volunteers as “Ambassadors of Inclusion” who can mentor peers and replicate models.

Encourage student-led projects on accessibility, sustainability, and creativity.
4. Strengthening Parent, Teacher, and Community Partnerships

Regular parent–teacher inclusion dialogues.

Story-sharing platforms for parents and caregivers.

Partner with teacher training institutes to integrate inclusive pedagogy.
5. National and Global Collaborations

Collaborate with other inclusive festivals and movements in India and abroad.
